It’s that time again – or the first time, if you have recently reached the age for Medicare enrollment. From October 15th to December 7th, qualified individuals can enroll or reenroll in Medicare.
Now is also traditionally the time when a person will need to review Medicare and make sure that their current Medicare plan(s) are meeting their needs. Ask yourself:
- Have any of my health and medical needs changed?
- Do I need more or less medication than I did in previous years?
- Have my finances changed or am I bringing in more or less income?
- Has my coverage been easy for me to manage and understand?
Every individual’s situation is different, and in many cases, the needs can change throughout a person’s life. In these situations, it is important to review the different Medicare plans and policies to determine which one is best for you.
